Default LS1 into A 62 Chevy II

Has anyone installed a radiator from an LS1 donor car into a 1st generation Chevy II? On a budget, well as much of a budget as an LS1 installation will allow, and don't want to spend hugh dollars on a custom radiator.

Any input will be appreciated.

I used the stock radiator for my 305, if the car has a radiator for a v8 i would think it would work, as far as installing a ls1 specific radiator, its just a matter of fabrication. Its possible but I cannot say what is needed for your exact question. good luck

LS1 Radiator will be to wide, and too short for the stock frontend. Why not a summit universal aluminum radiator? They run about 169.......

Default ON a budget as well

You will need to notch one side of the frame to use the stock ls1 radiator on your 66. This is what I did to make it fit mine.
