for mostly drag racing, definitely go for the 9".

for mostly daily driving/auto-x/road race, with very little or no drag racing, the lighter 12-bolt would be better.

i voted 9", since you said you will be going to the track a lot.

Get a fabbed 9in. Weight of a 10 bolt. Last a long time.

I'm with Bob on this one. His reasoning is very well thought out, based on plenty of firsthand experience.

Wow!

I might add the new Moser M9 has a kick *** torque arm, the best one I have ever seen. It helped my car to a 1.29 60 ft at the LSX Shootout on DOT drag radials, on just my cars second outing! I am sure these times will drop as we get the car dialed in. oh, and this was with a Powerglide to boot, which has a lousy first gear to launch with. No nitrous, just a 408 with an ATI ProCharger F-1A, 3.70 gears and a M/T 28" tall drag radial. Bob

With the TA it's around $3200 give or take. Not to mention it is setup for track use ...not for street use/DD. Bob would probably second that. I'm going 9" on mine next spring.

So the new M9 isn't recommended for a street car?
