will the dash computer mpg/fuel use gauge work with mods

Picking out things to add to the 06 gto When you add supercharger headers or anything along them lines. will the stock computer still read right on the dash.

If you do gears or change your tire width size, you'll need to have that info input or your speed, distance and mpg related numbers will be off.
