i have a strange S/T series rear and i want to switch to 3.73 what gear size do i need

you mean what series carrier you need or what gear you should step up to???

First, we need to know what rear end you have.

Is it a Strange 12-bolt? I'm guessing because they come with the S/T series axles you referred to.

What gears does it have right now? This is important so hopefully we can determine what series carrier is in it.

IF.....if you have a 12-bolt with 4.11's in it, right from Strange, it will have a series-4 carrier in it. If you want to put 3.73's in it, you will need the thin cut 3.73's for the series-4 carrier.

it has no abs and no traction control i need the size gear like 8.825 because i ordered a 12 bolt gear from motive and the pinion gear was wrong
