I say you should go with an Ls6 Intake before you start to mod because when you have a cam along with other mods you never seem to find one trust me and if you do the sale is pending lol ... Just my .02

ls6=flat bottom, no egr provisions, MUCH better flow, not stock on your 98, you can pick them up in the for sale section for ~$325ish

ls1=slighty curved bottom, hole behind tb for EGR, flow not very good, comes stock on your 98

they go for about 300-350

typically your going to see them on here for anywhere from 300-350 but if you were to buy one new it's going to be much much more so stick with the for sale in here

just be careful, i know txhotboi will back me up on this, the corvette intakes have no provision for EGR's and their bottom end is alittle curved but you can still tell that it's an ls1 intake. and also SLP sells ls6 intakes with EGR provisions nice curve ball huh

BEST way to tell is to check model numbers, search that up and theyll be right there, that way leaves no doubt

just make sure it's from a 01 and up mine is from an 02 Z06 and i checked with the P/N and it is a LS6 . . . now it's a ported LS6 got it for $380 with shipping came painted red

if you are going to get a ls6 manifold w/o provisions(ie no state inspections visual or otherwise) then pick up a egr block off plate to clean up the engine bay...or you are going to have a dangling pipe lol
