i noticed the luck you had and its phenomanal but i just got rid of my 02 ws6 weekend car, and love the feel of my dd so i decided to turn another one into that weekend car.

Yes, the 04 GTO has a LS6 intake manifold.

The only free performance mod I can think of for the LS1 is the throttle body coolant by-pass mod.

all 2000's have the ls1 intake, now there are cars made in 2000 as 2001 model year that do not, but it is the model year that determines emissions, and that is what kept the ls1 intake on the cars until the cam change of 2001.
