So I've had my X50 for about a year now I Guess. It's always in highway mode, all bands on, POP on. I regularly see it throw X, K, Ka and I occasionally see laser.

I used to be able to detect MA staties with it. I saw them using laser a lot. But I've driven by cops probably a dozen times at least lately where it definitely should have alerted me and didn't. Anyone know what guns they're using here? I drive mostly 495 and 290. Have they switched to something new? Is my X50 not able to detect them? Or is it defective?

Looks like I'm not the only one having problems with the X50. Once again I wish I got the V1.

Got hit in WVa this summer going 80 in a 65. My Escort X50 alerted me to all the other radar during the trip to NC - but not that one? Trooper stated he got me on radar - came across the median from the other side of the highway. I didn't argue since I was doing 80...

He was nice enough to write it for 74 in a 65 = no points but $160 fine

Coming back thru I saw someone else get pulled over in the very same spot ahead of me - but the X50 didn't go off that time either? Don't know what they were using
