I'm attempting to purchase an 02 CETA collector's edition trans am. I have the vin number, but how can I determine if it is an authentic car?

Isn't there a specific code to look for? Like Z15 or something like that?

Yes the RPO code is Z15.
Click on this link and email Justin (if he is still doing this) and he'll be able to tell you the CE number and the conversion date
