Open Pacesetters = FUN!
A friend and I put on some Pacesetters, poly motor and trany mounts, MSD plug wires and NGK TR55 plugs this past weekend.
I would like to give a big **** you very much to Prothane for their upside down diagram and vagueness of how the motor mount should be installed.
The total install would have taken about 6 hours to do but the motor mounts kicked out *** for another 3 trying to figure out why the main bolt holes wouldn't line up. We took the motor mounts off, popped the rivets and put the prothane mounts in exactly how they came out of the car. Well unannounced to us we had to flip flop sides and flip the prothane mount in the bracket to get them to work.
I will probably create a write up on how to install the mounts when i get some time.
Here is my compilation.
We are still working on getting his shop finished up, so excuse the mess.
Wanted to get the headers on before the snow flies.
Used my canon 800is to take the video, it didn't like the exhaust being so loud.

The shop is awesome!
40x80 with 3 big bay doors on one end with the lift in the middle. Paint booth and body shop on the far end. We have to put up a wall to separate the areas and then finish the tin.
Another one of it on the lift. This was one of the first pictures taken.

I had my wife and brother in law come out to the garage after I installed my pacesetters. they thought the car was loud with the GMMG so I had them stand in the garage next to the car when I fired it up. they both about took off running. was too damn funny. first words from the wife were "thats sooo dumb" haha I loved it

I drove for a few months open headers before and after the MS3 install. I eventually put the exhaust system back on just to see what it would sound like. After a month or 2 of that i cut the mufflers off and had it run with straight pipes. I love how loud my car was and miss it. I eventually had to put the mufflers back on after a highway patrol gave me a ticket for "making alot of noise as a i passed by him".

Thanks! I might take it out and cruise around town a bit when i get back.
Going to have to stuff rags in the exhaust to keep rodents out when i finally park it for the winter.
