Default truck buying question

im looking at buying a new 2008 silverado ext cab, 1lt package, basically everything included except leather. and the truck is coming out to $31,000.

my question is about the monthly payments, I opted for 72 months, and they want $685 a month! how is that possible? doesnt equal out right at all. anyone with car financial or saled experience please give me your input.

They don't lube it up or anything before they you.

Depends on your credit score and corresponding interest rate.

BTW, Texas sales tax is 6.25% on vehicles.

By using that calculator, they are basically trying to bone you in the *** with an 11.5% interest rate at 72 months.

walk away from that deal...especially if you have any sort of money down or trade in!
