Default Newbie from RI checking in...

Hey everyone,

New member checking in..... I see this board linked all the time from LS1.com, and I finally got around to registering.

I have a '00 Formula, a NBM A4. I picked it up in August of this year with 65k on it. It was all stock, which it still is, with the exception of the SLP lid I put on a few weeks ago. I definitely have a longer wish list, but the wallet can't handle it right now.

Previous to this I had a '80 T/A, a '88 L98 GTA, and a '98 Formy M6 hartop which I've missed terribly since I got rid of it in Jan '01. I just couldn't stand it anymore, I've missed that car so much, which is why I finally picked up the '00.

I'll post some pics soon.

Nice! I thought I knew alot about Jeeps, but I never realized you could get a TD in an XJ.

I'll be driving the Formy all winter, unless there's snow on the ground. I have a '97 Grand Cherokee on 31's for that.

It doesn't snow all that much here usually, so there's no sense in putting the car away.

Plus, my 88 GTA was my DD for a few years, even in winter, so I'm used to it.

The snow wasn't the bad part its the salt that rots your car out! I liked playing in the snow when the *** end of the car was in front of you it teaches you what to do when you lose control on the pavement spinning the tires.

I was actually thinking of those! I'm watching a set on Ebay right now, actually.

I always liked the older style WS6 wheels better, but lately the speedlines have been growing on me, and they ARE different.

I feel the same way about those as I do ZR1s. You can't go wrong they look classy and factory at the same time. The thing that I really like over all about those rims is that you can get that look (factory etc.) except you can get some polished, which looks great and to me it's just rare to get that look with a polished rim.....
