Ferrari style interior!
It only took a few drives in my new 4th gen SS to make me realize how sh**y the interior materials are. PLASTIC, then i decided to begin redesigning the whole interior. what design to go with though? then i saw a picture of a Ferrari's interior and thought WOW. I know our cars arent exotics or are meant to be, but how nice would that look in a nice lookin fast car? SO if any of you have any suede/leather/carbon fiber interiors post them up! It would be really cool to see if anyone else had this crazy idea. By the way here is the pic that inspired me to begin my project. Dam pic heres url

I know what you mean i have already started on mine. Most of the interior is stripped and one door panel is fibreglassed and almost ready to be wrapped in leather. Got to do the other one and then the hard stuff comes like the new custom one off dash and console. It is gonna look awsome. I am making it aggresive, exotic and practical. NO stupid speakers everywhere or dumb carbonfibre overkill. I HATE RICERS

As much as I agree the interior of the 4th gens is starting to look old, modernizing it to the year 2007 will look even more stupid 10 years from now. Stick with the original, or at least keep the stock parts handy

Its amazing what a little bit of work/cleaning/detailer/photoshop can do to make an interior look WAYYY more classy than it really is. (imo the pic you posted looks almost as nice as the ferarri)
The worst thing someone can do to real leather seats is jizz them all up with some crap leather detailer, it makes them look really cheap like **** pleather. - one of the reasons I told the dealer I wouldnt buy my TBSS if they even went close to it with the armor-all

First of all, I tried wrapping my interior in CF, to much of a pain in the ***, so, I paid someone to finish it. Of course, it wasn't me doing the work so therefore there was not as much care taken with it and it did not turn out how I wanted. Now, I am going back to stock.
Second, to carbon fiber the interior like in the ferrari pic would take hundred of dollars in materials, many spare parts for the times you screw up or just get pissed off and break the part, and hundreds of hours in work. Then sanding, sanding, sanding. In the end, it will still have the Honda Civic aftermarket interior look.
Third, roadhog_113 I am not as hateful towards "rice" as you claim to be. I think modding a car is just that, modding a car. If you want to dress up a Honda, do it. BUT, to say you hate rice, then fiberglass your doorpanels with a bigger speaker hold AND to say since it will be so heavy you will take them out when you go to the track seems hippocritical. I'm just saying....
Last-more power to you interior modders, but, take it from me, NOT F'ING WORTH IT!
