Default LS1 Ticking sound

motor makes a ticking sound thats in sync with the RPM's... I have retorqued the rocker arms and still makes the sound. Oil pressure is 40 on idle and goes 60-80 over 2000rpms. doesnt overheat.

Lifters?
Valves?
WTF?

How bad is it? All gen 3 GM motors "tick" to some degree, even from the factory. Have you done motor mods that could result in incorect pushrod length? We need more info...

I had a bad tick, pulled out all of my plugs and somehow when I installed the #8 plugged I dropped it which had moved the gap from .55 to .25, replaced that plug as well as the others and my tick is gone. Might check that out, something that easy!
