Default Simple Wideband ???? but can't find my answer??

I searched and searched to find the answer to my question, but no luck. Do I need a wideband if I'm not going to run nitrous? Will it help me tune my car once I install the cam?

Default

A wideband is needed to safely tune PE (power enrichment) also known as WOT (wide open throttle). I wouldn't try to tune PE without it.

You can tune part throttle without a wideband by using LTFT (long term fuel trims) and get close. I was within 2% after many, many hours of tuning but if I had to do it over again I'd start with the wideband. Makes things much faster and easier.

BTW: Nice car check out LS1gto.com for more GTO specifics.
