Default Loud Lifter type noise after head swap

Help me please.

I did a headswap on my ls1. Engine fired right up and whatnot runs smooth,..

Howecer- On the Left bank the lifters are totally raiseing hell, I figured Id let the car run, I let it run for 10 minutes and Its still very loud..

Is there anytrhing I could have done wrong?

I used Some trickflow 7.400 Pushrods. they are rounded at the ends, but The only Thiing I noticed was that the stock ones have a ball o the end, These are are one piece, They assured me this didnt matter...

Anyone?

What does the noise sound like exactly? As stated above was anything else other than the heads done?

Did you check valve clearance with the new heads?

One of your other threads on CF mentions an over-rev and bent valve, did they remove and verify all valves were straight? If they didn't and the valve is not fully closing, then the height of the valve stem will be slightly reduced and you get the ticking sound.

+1 for 427 and vettenuts replies. Did you check both issues properly?
