Default Tundra Vs. Cammed 6.0 Silverado

Had some good races tonight. Wish I had them on vid but I dont. Call bs if you want and hate on the tundra but this is how it went down Both trucks are extended cab

07 Tundra- catback only with 2500 miles

05 Chevy- 6.0l, cammed, longtubes, 3.73 gears, intake, tune, misc little stuff.

Good races. 1st race was from a dig. Both trucks getting decent traction. I would pull off the line prolly due to my 4.30's and he would start to real me in and at 100 he would have a truck maybe a truck and half. All the raaces were done to 100 mph.

We did another race just like this with the same outcome.

We also did a few from slow 10-20 mph rolls. Again I would jump him pretty good but he would start to come up on me and at around 100 hed have a truck or so...

Fun races and I loved to see how my stock heavy *** tundra did against a built 6.0 chevy. All this racing made me miss my trans am though. haha.

Are we talking about a "Vortec Max" or the standard 6.0?

A standard 6.0 has 300hp. Add cam, longtube, intake, tune...what would that be? Maybe 375hp?

Tundra = 387hp?

He won?

you probably pulled him off the line because of the gears AND the fact that a cam basically removes low rpm torque/power. A stock 6.0L would have probably beaten him off the line too, unless he has a converter.

Try to line up a race with a '07+ Vortec Max truck. That would be a good one to see the outcome of.

Hahah a tundra would wax any 98 gt man. I had 3 friends with them running 14.6's-14.7's with boltons. You must have raced the 4.7

Ive been trying to see one around but they are rare to come by. I think they are heavier, make less power, and Im sure I out gear him. Might be a fun race but Im pretty sure Ide win pretty good

Go over to PerformanceTrucks.net and see if anyone in the area has a V-Max. Just set up a race. Win or lose, I'd be interested in seeing the results.

Or even better, an '07 GMC Denali pickup with the 6.2L L92 (404 hp)

I dont think anyone gives a flying **** about your WildbillhaswildsexwithhisTundra (isnt that your screenname?) stories! Post these kinds of tales in the Street Racing forum. Ok, a modded 6.0 beat your Tundra....is that all? If it outran a funny car, I still dont want one because they look like *** so refrain from wasting bandwidth to crow about it getting beat. Sorry, I had just seen too many Tundra threads or replies.

Merely a symptom of Tundra ownership as I understand.
