Default Spool and posi identification

Rear end is out of the car.

Spool = both sides turning the same direction?
Posi = One side one way and the other the opposite direction?

Both the spool and posi (limited slip) will turn both wheels in the same direction...You'll have to pull the cover and see whats inside if its out of the car...

A spool is just a piece that solidly connects the two axles together & bolts the ring gear to it. Both wheels always turn the same speed all the time like one solid piece.

A posi lets the inside tire turn at a different speed when cornering hard or just normal turning.
