Default Bright Headlights

Does anybody know if you can get the bright headlights like the Sylvania Silverstars for a Trans Am. I've looking around but only see conversion kits.

YOU CAN GET SILVERSTARS THAT ARE A DIRECT FIT FROM PLACES LIKE AUTOZONE OR CARQUEST, OR EVEN WALMART I THINK. THE NUMBERS ARE H4701 AND H4703 THE LATTER BEING THE LOW BEAM. ITS STILL GONNA BE THE BIG SQUARE SEALED HOUSING, NOT JUST A BULB. THERE ARE SOME CONVERSION KITS (IE: HID's) THAT WILL COME WITH A HOUSING LENS AND A BULB (AND BALLASTS). IM NOT SURE, BUT THEY MAY BE AVAILABLE FROM ONE OF THE SPONSORS.

Sylvania does not make SilverStar bulbs in the 4701/4703 size.

Sylvania does make XtraVision bulbs in the 4701/4703 size which are actually brighter (higher lumen output) than the SilverStar but aren't as white due to being clear instead of having that blue coating (which blocks some light).

I get the impression that you want something brighter and whiter. In that case you'll have to buy conversion housings, make your own, or get projectors.

If you haven't already, check out the Lighting FAQ.
Its in the Hall of Fame sticky in the Appearance & Detailing section.
Its also in my sig.
Here is a link for convenience:

Check out www.ledgauges.com or PM LS1_SS as he is their sponser. He has some killer lights for the firebirds. I plan on getting some for my Formula in my sig.
