What clutch does Ligenfelter use for the 550 and 650TT's?

I have the Ram 980 and it is supposed to be pretty good. It is stiff and grabby. It is holding on my 415 rwhp C-5

Lingenfelter Clutch (http://www.lingenfelter.com/lingenfelter/product.asp?dept%5Fid=101&pf%5Fid=502) Here's what they sell anyway, and say thats what they typically install into their cars.

My buddy is using a Mcleod on a C-5 that runs 10.0 with no problem.

McLeod dual disc is the top ticket as far as I know...

Lingenfelter is way pricey...anyone have good results with the RAM on a 427? The Spec I have rattles like a tin can and eventually it either shuts up or I buy something else.

BTW, the SPEC is a solid unit and it really hooks, just noisy. And, it's only fair to add, with having the ability to put this much torque to the ground there are certain trade offs and compromises. I just want it all!

Check out the CenterForce Dual Friction Clutch. I have this clutch in my Camaro and it is smooth as glass. It is rated for ultra-high hp cars. Summit has them for $384 + $82 for the throwout bearing.

I have a pretty radical engine set up (Vette Doctors 422) and the McLeod Dual Disk set up actually works great. I have a special Kevlar disc config and custom pressure plate with an aluminum flywheel. I have run several 9 sec runs and dozens on mid to low 10 sec runs and it has not slipped once. Knock on Wood ;)
