Boosted Guys: Noise Levels?
I am in the process of possibly selling my Vette and move to a higher horsepower boosted Vette due to the noise levels. My question is this: How loud are your boosted high horsepower cars? Anyone here have one that is fairly quiet?

My twin turbo car is quieter than my car was with H/C, Mac mids, and open borla.... that is, until the wastegates open, then its quite a bit louder... but thats only at high rpms under full boost...

If you have a blower it will be louder. If you have turbo's, they act like a muffler and will quiet it down. My car sounds good from inside the car. But at the track my buddies said that they could not even hear me go by. That is fine by me. Less attention drawn to me if I am screwing around.

I gotta say, my boy's FRC with H/C/I P1SC and the big PC blowoff sounds nothing short of SICK.
Couldn't imagine a car that sounds better, it has all the right noises, and people look at you like you are ****** nuts when you cruise past them with the BOV whistlin and the B&Bs humming....

If you want quiet go with the ECS Paxton Novi. At idle I can not even hear mine. Definitely the quietest on the market. If you want sound you can get it from the cat-back.
