Is there anywhere I can order a CF drive shaft that will just bolt up to the stock set-up without converting u-joints, and making all sort of measurements?

I've had my 3.75" CF driveshaft for almost 1.5 years, and it has been a good driveshaft. I certainly didn't notice a difference over what it replaced (factory aluminum shaft), but it is much beefier with 1350 joints front and rear. It weighed within 1 lb of the stocker (a little more), so I was pleased.

As for ordering a CF shaft that you don't have to measure to get to fit right, I think ACPT will sell theirs that way. But honestly, measuring for a driveshaft is so simple, there is no reason you shouldn't. PST requires measurements before they'll build you one, especially in carbon fiber. Due to the nature of CF, if you don't get the measurements just right, you can't just shorten it by an inch or so...I think the minimum they can shrink one down is in 6" increments after it has been made.

Why does PST have a 545$ 3 1/4in listed on their website for the f-body, but when I call them I can only order the 900$ 3 3/4in with a 1330 series u-joint? I thought stock was 1310.

I just want a drive shaft that eliminates all this !@##$%^ vibration, why is this so hard?

You can be very specific about what you want...they will always recommend the 3-3/4" shaft for street applications, but they will most certainly sell you the 3-1/4" shaft if you ask for it. There are guys on here that got that same shaft...

Stock is NOT 1310. It is a Saginaw 3R (so it isn't even a 1330)...

If you are having vibration problems, and you don't want this hassle or expense, just order their aluminum shaft. A well-balanced shaft will not vibrate, and they make well-balanced shafts. What was the process you used to narrow down that it is the driveshaft that is causing the problem anyway?

Changed the tires, balanced clutch flywheel, the shifter bounces on the freeway.

And I told them I wanted the 3 1/4 CF shaft, and they told me it wasn't possible? Probably should just go with a new aluminum shaft.
