Default 5.3 stage 1.5 heads/ported fast 90/90 and MS3

What do you guys think it should dyno with a 6speed?

Out of the box 5.3 heads, ms3, and a home ported fast 90 combo. Lt's with 3 in duals.

Just a recomandation, the 1.5 heads do not come with springs that will support the MS3, if you factor in the price of new springs its cheaper to get the 2.5's that do include springs that will hold the MS3

Springs are already on the heads. And if you order directly from TEA...the springs are included etc. so 1.5's will be cheaper than the 2.5's.

depends on where you buy them from...teas come with good springs in the stage 1.5 format

Im gonna say 400-425 depending on tune. My 6 speed dynoed 440 to the wheels with the ls6 prc 2.5 heads, the magic stick 4, a fast 90/90 unported, and qtp longtubes with a y pipe with cutouts and a magnaflow exhaust. I made 435 through the magnaflow and with the cutouts open I made 441rwhp/425rwtq

I'll take a stab at 432.6 RWHP. The tune has a big factor in that. Keep us posted. Do you have the parts installed or is this just a hypothetical question so you know what parts to order?

Matt at RPM helped with my WOT tuning actually. You really should learn more about what you are talking about.

Car made 459.3 rwhp and 405 lbs of TQ...

I was just curious what you guys thought it would make vs what it did make.

corrected #'s on a dyno jet btw.

oh and through a paper filter still.

Not to hijack but,
Where did you buy the heads? was hoping to run these next year and I'm already going to have the springs to support the MS3. Is there any performance difference in the 1.5 and 2.5's. These #'s are with the car already dynoed?

I ordered them directly from Brian Tooley at TEA.

as for the performance diff...prob some but I don't feel enough to justify the cost. IF I had to do it again I would have bought the bare castings and sent them to a guy I have met and befriended now that ports heads for a well respected race shop. Had a lil nicer head possibly for the same if not lower cost. But these heads have done me well.

When I ordered them, had them milled (along with pistons flycut) to get about 11.7 to CR to gain a lil more power and stay in pump gas territory.

And yes this is dyno #'s from a few weeks back. Not to shabby, car has sense been swapped to a th350 with a nitrous converter and went 11.5 at 119 (couldn't go any faster due to no cage) and a 7.37 at 96 in the 1/8th. 60 ft was a 1.71 (needs the spray bad or a new conveter)
