Default Help On Adjusting The Handbrake On A 2001 Camaro

hey what up guys i need help on adjusting my handbrake on my slowmaro!.lol.. can anyone help?

how about i just save myself 30 bucks and you just tell me...lol...i was doing it earlier but i am not sure if i am doing it right. i did the driver side. what i did is take off the rotor and then at the bottom where.....**** i cant explain it but i think i have a clue...

okay at the bottom of the whole assembly where the two shoes come together there is a metal spiked dial that you turn, basically you turn it one way whichever way opens up the shoes,

so you turn a bit and test fit the rotor, repeat this until the rotor fits snug but still easily rotates,

do this to both sides and your done, if this doesnt fix your problem you may have a streched cable but that is highly unlikely

NICE! thanks luke i appreciate it man. so i guess i am doing it right!...well yeah man i just got done with the driver side cuz i hit myself with my wrench. i was putting my caliper back on and then when i tighten it my wrench slipped out and hit me right on the center of my forehead! so now i look like if i work at 7eleven with a dot on my forehead. so i got pist off and got dizzy and just left it alone. i will continue to do the passenger side tomorrow morning when i can see.

but when you are doing all this the handbrake must be at the down position correct?

yeah man you'll see tomorrow at the meet. i'll be there with a fucken dot on my forehead. but damn man i am kind of if's on going now if i get a scar. lol. but thanks man for the help and for sure i'll hit you up so you can install some jba headers that i may be getting soon. with that i'll pay you for the installation.
