Gears & Axles - HELP ASAP!! Moser Shim

OKay I am gettin my bearings pressed tomorrow and just relized the guy never gave me shims.

Now are the 1/8 shims press fit?

BC what I was gonna do is first thing tomorrow bring the old press rings to work and skim them on the grinder to 1/8 then get it all pressed.

So are they press fit or should i dremel them a bit bigger?

No they do not have a press fit, they just drop on behind the bearing. Some LT1 brakes do not require the extra 1/8 shim, depends on the year they were produced.

Well i mocked it up this morning and my 91 brakes dont need them
