How to convert .flv or .mov to a .mpg file? How to save and send?
Ok...I have a Kodak Camera that also does decent videos. I made a video last night of the car and when I use Kodak Easy Share to transfer my pics and vids from the camera to the computer, it defaults to save the video as a .mov file and automatically opens up with Quick Time.
When I right click the file and go into properties, it says Quick Time Movie as the file type. So then I uploaded it to my Photobucket account and it somehow converted it to a .flv file.
How do I convert a .flv or .mov file to a .mpg?
Also, I'm at work now and the only way I can view my video is if I log into my YouTube or Photobucket account or get on the board. However, I can't save it to my computer from any location. It'll either save as a HTML document which is just a link basically or as a pic.
So I'm assuming it has to be converted to a .mpg file before it can be saved. I want to send the file to someone but I can't even save it properly to do so. Help me out here.

Do a "Yahoo.com" look up (go to that site). Then type in something like "mov. to mpeg convert" and you will be presented with an array of other sites to double click. Many of those sites will allow you to download a tool to convert these files. Scan for viruses before you open ANY programs for obvious reasons. Follow directions and have a good day!
Scratch what I just typed. I didnt read down to where you said where you are at work because I have the same problems too

I can't even do this at home. I try to save it as a .mpg, but it doesn't give me the option. I can't figure out how to change the default settings on movies so that it saves them as .mpg instead of .mov. I've logged into both my PhotoBucket and YouTube account and right clicked on the video. I tried copying and pasting it into my video folder here at work and I've also chosen the save target as, but still no luck.
