Default Any Chevy Dealers in Texas who will do GMS pricing on a new ZO6?

I have a friend who may be interested in one. Bill Heard told him one thing on the phone then another in person. Typical

Several will sell at invoice minus any available rebates. I bought my C6 at Huffines Chevy in Plano like that, and they were still being marked up $3-5K here in Houston.

If you have seen the news lately. Stay away from BILL HEARD! There is something going on about a considerate amount of people buying cars from them and end up getting the switch the paperwork to a lease thing when they go to pay their last payment. This was on the news for two days about a week ago. Please, dont get burned by them. They are being investigated. You can probably yahoo the news to get more details.

I saw that too. Before i got this mach i was about to buy a 99 red frc and the ad in the paper had 1 price and by the time i got there the price went up like 2gs or more (without ttl). I told them what the ad in the paper said and they pretty much told me to **** off. I think they thought i wanted it so bad that i would pay anything so....
I ended up with another black mach-1

Yeah I had a trip to houston and was looking at buying a new truck from them. I couldn't believe how inept they were in answering some simple questions concerning their inventory. Then the guy just kept ignoring me when I told him what I wanted and saying as "cheap as we will sell it you shouldn't care about the color." Maybe he only got paid by making an appointment as he made one even though I told him later that I wouldn't need one.

Bill Heard is the biggest piece of **** company ever.

If you click around on that news site, there are several other investigative pieces.

I'll tell you what makes me even angrier is that GM lets their dealers get away with **** like that.

After Melissa Buck went to Bill Heard Chevrolet in Antioch and bought a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer, she felt she'd been ripped off.

"So I pushed this button," Buck tells NewsChannel 5 consumer investigator Jennifer Kraus.

And that, she says, confirmed her fears.

"We would like to congratulate you on your ‘04 Trailblazer," a voice said.

It's a recording that'd been left on the car's message system by the salesmen at Bill Heard that closes with this zinger:

"I know you got f**ked, but still in the long run, you're going to be happy with it. So, take care!"

Buck's reaction:

"They were admitting to me, it seemed like, they did do exactly what they said."

And we found former Bill Heard managers who all say the message - "I know you got f**ked" -- is par for the course.

Holy crap...

I wouldn't let one bad egg stop you from making an omelet. Both my parents are finance managers at high end dealers here in Houston, and they are both just as upset about this as the rest of us. Just a shitty, SHITTY deal for the people that signed.

Just curious Zhak, why are they upset? They dont work for him do they? (non aggression question, just curious). It's not the reputation thing is it? I think people are just weary of the dealership itself.

I too wonder how come they are still in business since this has been happening for along time.

Sorry, didnt meant to .

I said high end dealers. Unless you consider Chevy a high end vehicle than the answer is no.
