Unhappy Friend died in Iraq

I went to high school with him, after that we kinda lost touch but when ever I saw him we would talk, still cool with one another. Come to find out today he was killed in Iraq. I have been lucky so far, I have had about 5+ friends from High school go to Iraq or Afghanistan and three of my fraternity brothers and so far all have come back or are still alive. I guess that good luck ran out. RIP Ben Garrison

I'm very sorry to hear that. I too have lost some friends in the war, and it is never the asses that die always the great ones. The first friend I lost was Wes Canning he was possible the nicest person I have ever met, and is remembered by all who knew him.

Very sorry to hear that. I bet his memorial service over there was very sobering. I went to a few of them over there.

Do you know where he was stationed, which camp?

Do you know where he was located at in Iraq? Was he in Baghdad or another camp somewhere else?

Once again, sorry to hear it and sorry for his family's loss.

Very sorry to hear.

I had to reserve unit shipmates come back from active recall and commit suicide back in '03. One of them was my best friend in the unit. It sucks.
