hey i installed some hid's and now the FM radio is REALLY static-y when they are on. like you can barely hear music. i attached a ground wire to the ballast but that didnt help... any other ideas??

oh and even with the lights on, it does NOT effect the audio when i play CD's or my iPod.... please help!

Sounds like some serious leakage. Are the ballasts mounted to anything metal. If so, try isolating it with no metallic material.

well it WAS attached via a double stick foam pad. and it still did it, so i attached a ground wire to the ballast. but it is STILL making static. any other ideas?

What kind of HID kit did you install? IIRC, mine didn't came with a ground wire. I attached the ballast on the bumper support.

you know, i forgot the name, i threw away the box, (HID systems maybe) but it came with two ballasts, two bulbs, two fused connectors, and two bulb connectors. and now they sent me 2 noise filter connectors and i put those on, but THEY didnt even help. i made the little ground wires myself.
