Default Gauge pod wiring

My brother and I are going to be using a stock f-body gauge cluster in our conversion. At the begining of the project we were planning on aftermarket gauges so we did not worry about the wiring for them. I have found a donor car at the junk yard but part of the main harness has been cut. All of the wiring is good from the connector behind the cluster to the firewall and out itno the engine bay. My question is were would the connectors that tie the interior wiring in to the main harness be located. I do not want to take the time to remove the dash and carefully remove the interior harness if the connectors were cut off in the engine bay. The part that was cut off is the big bundle with the thick purple starter wire in it. about 8 inches away from the PCM.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are a couple connectors that have signals going to the gauge cluster. You can look in the sticky at the top and figure out what the wires actually do. On the harness I received w/ my engine (02 LS1.) There were 2 or 3 small connectors w/ long leads attached to the main engine harness. These connectors supply the signals to the gauge cluster and go through the firewall and under the dash. Not sure if that answers the question.

Just looked in the sticky. Looks like there are 2 connectors that go under the dash (220 and 230.)

Yeah I gathered that. From the sounds of it they are under the dash. I hope. I just wanted to know for sure. Our harness had the wires cut after the plugs.

Thanks stealth.

I have never worked on a LS1 fbody, but from the pics that I have seen it looked like C220 and C230 were not weatherproof so they must be under the dash.
