Default How much is my 10 bolt worth?

I am trying to muster up the cash to get a new rear end for my 98 camaro. I figure I might as well do it while my 10 bolt is not broken, and sell it for some cash to put against the cost of a 12 olt or 9" rear. It's a 448hp/392tq car, so its bound to break...and already has broken one. Therefore, i'm not sure on the mileage on this 10 bolt. It has Motive 4.10 gears in it, and hasn't been abused (not by me anyway). How much could I expect to be able to sell it for? Also, I was wondering if my TA rear end girdle and aftermarket torque arm could be used on a 9" or 12 bolt. Thanks for any help.

Sell for whatever the market allows in your area. I would make some calls to the local wrecking yards, that would give you a good indicator on what to sell it for.

Your TA Girdle will not be able to be used on a 12 bolt or 9". Your torque arm bracket can be reused according to Moser.

10 bolts in good shape usually sell for $250-$400. Make a for sale post on this site and see how it goes.

you can get a little more if you want to tear the guts out and put them in an leaf spring axle for gen 1 & 2 F-bodies. I see those stock rears for free and a disc/posi sell for $600. I'd do it, but not real god at gear swaps.
