You can find them on a few sites here and there and possibly that auction site too. Problem is the fit and finish of those so called "kits" absolutely sucks. Before I built my own, I bought two different ones from different companies and tried them out. They were built like crap, the carpet or whatever they called it was horrible, and they didn't even fit that well. It took me all of about a weekend to build mine and it really isn't that hard to do. Make it your own and it will look at fit much better I'm sure.

They are there for like $75. PM me so I don't get hit with the ban stick and I'll give you a link. Also try searching "camaro/firebird rear seat deletes".

If they are the company I am thinking of, they are absolutely terrible. If they are the ones that are just two little buckets that sit in place of the rear seats then these are the ones I'm talking about. I'm not trying to bash on anyone that has them and likes them, but $75 is about $60 bucks too much for those.

I built my own delete, built the amp rack, and covered it all in suede for about $40 in total in materials. And it fits better than any premade one I've seen. Cheaper and it looks better, no contest there.

Looks good for 40 bones. You just use plywood or something and cover it?

6LE sells a RSD for Fbodys.. Pretty good price on them, they are not too bulky and I believe they come with a style that has a lid for storage...

We sell them...

Definitely cheaper if you can make yourself but if not we are lower than the competition (on here) and include free shipping (and have three styles to choose from)

I keep waiting to see one for 'verts. That wants a high-back
panel to protect the folded top (in my book). This back wall
should come up as high as the seat-back does so the top
isn't constantly buffeted when down.

I see some of these pics not looking like a very good color
match. I have the 02 black (ebony?) interior and have
gotten some carpet that isn't good enough to use. I'd
like to see customer opinions on the color match angle.

If you saw how much labor was involved in making these in high quality, you'd see why. Cutting up the plastic, forming it to shape with a plastic heat forming machine, and carpeting them with adhesive. It's pretty time consuming but worth it to have a lightweight piece back there.

I don't understand the RSD "mod" there isn't a RSD on the market yet that looks even close to "belonging" in the car. But the biggest reason i don't get it, is the fact that 1) taking them out looks so out of place and 2) they aren't THAT heavy. They look better in than out...if you're worried about being slower with the seats - just make more power...

I was told time in and time out DON'T do dynamat the car, you'll lose power. Didn't listen. Power is made up in the engine, not pulling out parts of the interior, unless you're a full blown race car...

I drive around with my seat folded down over half the time
because I use my 'vert like a baby El Camino with a real
short bed. I never take passengers. The only reasons I
put the seat up is appearance, and to protect the top.
A proper looking delete would suit me fine. There just
isn't one.
