ive never done one before and am thinking about doing it myself on my 98 ta is it hard to do, or any special tools that i will need or and tricks to know when messing with gears? im going from 2.73 to 3.73

Special Tools Needed: Dail Indicator to check backlash, Inch Pound Torque Wrench to measure pinion bearing preload, 1/2 impact gun with a minimum of 150psi pressure, and basic mechanics tools. With the right tools and the patience you should be able to tackle the job without any problems. If you have any questions let me know. Glad to help.
