Default what size pushrods with unmilled 243 and .040 gasket

i know a pushrod length checker is the best way but i figure tons of yall already have this setup. im in the process of installing my new patriot 243's with cometic .040 gaskets. the heads are un-milled.

my thunder 7.400 pushrods should be about perfect size right?

One word.........MEASURE

Or you can just throw the 7.4s in and see if there is enough preload.
