Default Are there any Lt1 specialists in DFW

Like the title says I need a shop who knows what they are doing with Lt1 motors. I am tired of blowing money on people who dont know what they are doing. Again I need a reputable shop.

Wayne Calvert is good, I know a few people who have used him. I've personally had good experience with Engines Xtreme. Jim just got done building my second LT1 motor. I'm selling my first one if you're interested. It's a 355 with the LE1 pacakge. Here is the dyno sheet.

I've heard a few horror stories, but when a performance shop has been under the same name, owned by the same person, in the same business and in the same location for 40 years, they have to be doing something right.

I totally 100% agree Mitch, every performance shop is going to have some issues, you can't make everyone happy all the time.

Yeah irbs, that was me I'm not sure if I'm going to sell the whole thing or just the H/C/I and use the bottom end for something nasty yet. I'll PM you with both options.

well, an LT1 is just a 350 so any motor shop should be well qualified on working on them. Anderson engine in lewisville built my 355, talk to Rusty and tell him Chris, with the black camaro sent you. He should be able to build you ANYTHING you want. They rebuild any kind of motor, domestic or import. Great work.
