Gears & Axles - help with clunking

i only hear it at speeds 35mph and under. i barely tap the gas and i hear this loud clunk or banging. car runs great and i dont hear it with i mash the gas. trying to figure out what it could be. thanks

Could be almost anything. You won't be able to tell exactly what until you open it up and do some investigating.

you dont happen to have a true trak diff do you? they are notorious for making weird clunking noises but run awesome

in torsens, the paddle bangs on the cross pin as it rotates

I want to say it could be the backlash of the gears, but im not sure..

i gotta tru trac and it does the same thing, its loud as shit like a hammer is hitting the bottom of my chassis
