This is what I bought, it came with instructions and works perfect. And looks 100% OEM.

I bought mine from www.originalkeyless.com and it cfost right about the same, in case you can't get one on ebay. Mods I apologize if this is out of bounds on the non sponsor thing, just let me know if it is, not trying to advertise for anyone I know, just letting the guy know where I got my replacement.

I agree with the Ebay purchase, or you could even search for one in the for sale section of this site. I wouldn't go to the dealer unless you know someone who works there to use their discount. Programming is real simple, a few minutes and you're done.

Dealers will try to get you for 60-80 for the FOB and want to program it for you for another 50 or so.

It took me about 5 minutes to program, and I can not do anything electronic related.

I got an extra one from a parts car and one that looks brand new from a wreck in the junkyard.
No one was looking I dropped my keys next to it and picked up both by accident

in our cars you can just put key in ignition, turn the car from off to run (dont crank the engine, just to run)

then back to off, remove the door panel fuse box cover and remove the RADIO fuse (for my 98 it is the bottom right hand fuse), should be a diagram.

Now, close the door and turn the key from off to run 3 timesquickly, all the doors should lock and u should hear the hatch aswell. at this point, hold both unlock and lock keys on the key fob test to make sure everything works.
