I got to run last sunday for my first time and was generally happy with how I ran. The best I could do was a 13.689 @ 106.23 on the stock airbox. Then a friend put his TSP lid on the car with no filter and he ran a 10.374 @ 108.00... and he wasn't even used to the car. His 60' was 2.267 and mine was 2.273. Very comparable so the gain from the lid is obvious. After that, I ran it with the lid and my times just went to hell. I was still running in the 13.7s mostly, but my 60' times were running mostly 2.4... with the worst being 2.651. I obviously need to bring down my 60' time, but with my inexperience, I need some advice on how to do it. Right now I'm only running street tires and only the mods shown on my sig. I figure with more mods, I'll have had more race experience under my belt so I'll be able to adjust myself better, but for now, I really have no clue how to adjust my technique for a desired response from the car. Anyone have any kind words? :hail:
