Street Racing & Kill Stories - Modded 99' Z28 vs. Modded 02' Lightning : Who wins?

Well one of my friends has a 99' Z with Ram Air, Lid, MAF tips, cat-back, Z06 clutch. My other firend has a 02 Lightning with ram air intake, computer reflash and 4 lb pulley. I want to set up a friendly race between them :D and see how it goes. Personally I am going for the Chevy :cool:. I think that they are both capable high 12 sec cars. I am not sure from the stop who would win, maybe the L because of torque, and the Z maybe from the roll. Tell me what you guys think.

P.S if the Z does lose ( which I hope it doesnt) , he (the owner of the Z) has a Z06 intake on order with a N20 kit not far behind :burn: so vengence would not be far behind.

I would bet the Z28 would win.....it it an A4 or M6 car?

If its from a stop, the L should win. I used to pull 1.9x 60' on the street with similar mods. Chances are the Z will start creeping top end, but im guessing it wont be enough by the 1/4. If its a :gay: 50 punch or something, the lightning will lose, theyre hardly top end cars.

whats the deal with the 4lb pulley? Stock they make 8lbs.

I think the 4lb pulley means it adds 4lbs of boost. Ends up with 12lbs.

I'd say the Lightning will win. Here's why:

You say it's a "modded" '99 M6 Z28. Ram Air does absolutely nothing. FTRA or FRA I guess makes a very small difference if that's what you were talking about. The Z28 is probably making only about 310rwhp. The L should spank it off the line if you go from a dig. From a roll, the LS1 will win hands down.
