Default Cruise Control Help

Ok guys! I've checked everything I know how to check (fuses, relays, and plugs) How can I determine whether my cruise control motor is bad, as opposed to my switch in the car. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. BTW I have a 98 Z.

I have two cables going in (accelerator/TCS), and one going out to the TB. The only thing attached to the Cruise is a plug.
