auburn hmmm? unless you put that in yourself you dont have an auburn, non the less you have a torsen, and actually i have gone thru this same thing with my 99, where i would take a right hander and only one tire would spin, i really dont know why they do that sometimes,

try getting a burnout going in a straight line and see if both lock up and spin, it should, in this particular carrier when your posi goes out you will pretty much not be able to drive the car,

i have an extra bran new auburn pro carrier series 3 in my garage that i got a while back but never got around to installing it, let me know if you wanna upgrade?

98's came with an auburn btw. 99 is when they made the switch. some 99's got the auburn and the rest got the torsen. then SLP had the option in the SS for the auburn after 99.

my would do a one legger only when cornering. worked like a champ in a straight line until the diff completely gave out. stripped teeth in the inside, so one leggers are the beginning symptoms of broken rear-end. But the one i have now, which i bought off of XpEdItIoUs is amazing!

Go here to learn how to test your Auburn cone without doing anything more than lifting the rear of the car off the ground and applying a torque wrench to a lug nut.

3rd member in a torsen???
