Heat from lower boot ? solution here I've done A4 to M6 conversion ...didn't have the rubber lower boot ..but I made a good solution for the heat leaking from under console...
the hardest part was removing the center console..thanks installuniversity..and used two layers of heat insulation matt

_JB_ Looks good, how much heat was coming though?
I can't imagine the stock boot would be more than $20-$30 even from the dealer...

im having that same issue, i just put in my pro50 and didnt put the under boot back in, not only does it let heat in but you can hear road noise more....time to put it back on

now it worked fine for me ..no noise ..no heat
