Default TR6 Plug Gap on big cube motor??

OK, I've done a search and found the 3000 threads where the guy asked the SAME old question. "What do I gap my plugs at on a stock motor"

You'll be happy to know, this is NOT my question..

I have TR6's on my LSx 454. It is built to the hilt at 11.8:1. I was planning on running a direct port, but plans have changed. So for the next 6-8 months, I will be 100% NA.
Currently, my plugs are gapped at .035 and theirs a heavy reddish/brown color. But I think alot of the reddish color is from the Torco I run.

Honestly, I think they are gapped too tight. What have you guys found to be the best gap??? ..040? .042 -.045??

Please, only guys with direct knowledge answer this. I appreciate everyones input, but I dont feel like chasing my tail. So if you've had a large cid motor, please respond..

I run TR6's gapped to .035 on an 11.5:1 346ci.

I'd try a small jump to .040 and see how that is.

Without juice, you can go as much as .045, I run .042 on mine 12:1 SCR
The rest is done via datalogger on how many misfires

The problem is, is I cant log misfires.. With my motor/cam combo it picks up a ton of false misfires.

I'll go ahead an go to .040 and see how it looks.

How EXACTLY should the plugs read?

Since i'm gonna be running NA for a while, should I go to a TR55? Or is the TR6 ok?
