What are some of the better heads out there? And has anyone seen any flow data on them, as far as runner flow and runner volume etc? I have heard the best heads, as far as, driveability and performance, are the CNC lingenfelter heads..... and the GM CNC'ed Performance Heads are great too. I was thinking about running a MTI C1 or C2 cam with these. Or possibly the G5X-2 cam.

Well, I see your brand new on this board. I will be the first to say Welcome.

As far as ported heads is concerned, other than threads about which cam is best, there have been thousands of head posts.

There is no way I can tell you in one post as to what is avail, which is the best bang for the buck, or include flow data on all of them.

I think you would do best by clicking on the "Search" feature on the top of the page and type in "Heads". You will get enough reading material to last you as long as you want to read.

yep, just do a search and you will get enough data to read for hours

I think MTI/GTP are top dawgs

TEA and Absolute Speed best bang for buck

Patriot brand new to the game but cheapest

I have TEA's and love them.

I have the LPE ported heads from SDPC ,,,,they are a great value...some of the other heads ported by the other sponsors also flow well, however...

...as you know, these heads do not require a core.... they are heavilly milled at .o55 so your cam selection is somewhat limited....

the extra CR is NO problem for me and has the added advantage of eliminating the annoying exhaust rasp that i hate... it also increases power and milage...KEWL

Thanks guys, I will do a search! This website is awesome, a lot more technical (good) info than some of the other sites like corvetteforum.com etc.

JPR can do a nice set of heads for you. I have a set of stage one LS6 heads and they are awesome.
