Default How to keep oil from coming out breathers

I'm running speed inc's billet valve covers with a breather on each. I get some oil drops out the breathers that runs down on to my headers. There are no connections on the valve covers for a pcv hookup. Do I have any more options?

Run breathers similar to the pan-e-vac type that plumb to the exhaust on drag cars (closed element with a 1/2" tube coming out of the top, no pics, sorry!) to a catch can with an open element breather on top. I think there was group purchase on this type of set-up on here not too long ago.

are u running these?

cause those dont allow for running a catch can to hold that oil that is dripping

on the stock valve covers there is are nipples

you could probably tap your covers so u can run lines to a catch can.

I just turned my canister for the A/C into a catch can. It already has an in and out line and is attached in the perfect spot on the pass side fender well. I just put a $10 mr. gasket mesh breather on the top and a peacock fitting in the bottom. Going to polish it up alittle too before I hook it up.

LOL Mustang parts! There not a sponsor but a cheap *** part like this I dont see a problem with posting a link. I got mine from the local parts store that carries motorcraft. Took my drilled and tapped oil caps,Grinded the inside a little and shoved these bad boys in. They work rather well! Ok thats enuff of my PCV secrets for today.

Yeah I've seen people put Steel wool into breathers before for a simular effect. Just didn't like it much.

We installed this breather on my Z28, hooking it up by way of the valley pan. So far it looks like it is doing the job quite well. Bob

Venting the valley cover to a catch-can (LS6 valley cover) helps a lot. I run a catch-can off my PCV but still saw pressure around the valley cover. Venting that helps.

Any difference between venting the valley cover vs the valve covers?

Those carbon fiber valve covers are bling who sells those, I have factory valve covers with breathers in them on each cover could I weld AN fittings and run hose from each fitting to the moroso catch can.

Heres a pic of mine. I got the breather tank from a gut on here. Im running the Speed Inc. Valve cover too. With PVC grommets in the valve cover holes. Than a -10 fitting (fits nice and tight) with -10 hoses from each valve cover running to the breather tank.
