Exclamation OMG!! PIMP NEW CutOUT!! MuST SEE!!!!!!!!!!!

OMFG!!! BRUSHLESS motor cutout! WIRELESS Kooks cutout!! It learns WOT and either opens automatically or w/ a touch pad!!!!!!

I can't find it on the Kooks site tho..

OMG THIS IS PIMP!!!!

VID!!!!!!!!
http://jalopnik.com/cars/sema/kooky-...out-230003.php

The Streetfire crew ran across this exhaust system cutout gizmo from Bayshore New York's own Kooks Custom Headers at the 2006 PRI show. While an exhaust cutout is certainly not a new idea, this one is using technology reverse-engineered in part from Corvette Z06 innards. The exhaust cutout works either with slight touch of hand from within the vehicle, or by direct signal input from the throttle position sensor. Everyday driving results in quiet stealth mode. Lead foot action? Hey-yo! Wide open throttle triggered exhaust uncorking is amusement we can all use. The rest of the video unfolds into work safe header and exhaust system ****. – Mike Bumbeck

I don't see it on the kooks website, the vid also said it's a prototype... I wonder how much it will break the bank for all that technology...

That has DEFINITELY got to be the most badder-asser of the cutouts!!!

^ I got a heads up about this from a guy on LS1GTO.com, so I have no idea how old this info is.. I thought it was new due to me not hearing about it in the past 5 years I've owned my Camaro.

The idea of batteries and accidentally moving your hand over the switch seem to be the downsides to me.

Goofy he was - glad the "600rwhp with just cam and tune" was shut down... Intardnet rumours are stareted like that - and isnt the C6 exhaust cutout valve operated by a vacuum line?

yeah he seemed alittle off on a few things, "The 6.0, the LS2, The LS1" i was like eh.. isnt a LS2 a 6.0? lol unless he ment like a LQ9 or LQ4 which i doubt.
