I think the likes of a 216/220 @ 114 lsa ,would not lump a lot but it would get the blower working right from low down fairly quickly.

A local guy picked up something like 80 rwhp at 10psi with the speed inc SC2 cam (228/232 .581/.595 114+2). That made my decision to get the same cam for my car.

LS6 cam, Lingenfelter GT 2-3, or any other split cam like described above. It all depends on how much you want to affect your idle quality and driveability. Big gains can be had from going with a larger duration cam but you will have to deal with some idle quality compromises.

I just bought an LG 228/234 .588/.598 115

I'm gonna be pulling out my old one (in sig) over the next couple winter months. Then up for sale.

thats similar (but more duration} to mine running 15lb with a f1 procharger

made 620 something rwhp.

PS I had a little reverse split cam when running about 11-12 lb, that drove real well and made good 500rwhp on a stock engine

wow! only 620 at 15psi from an F1? Something seems a miss there... Should be more than that I would think.

Only vid I took of it idling the damn microphone was acting like complete crap.

The vid is here, but its pretty much useless in the sound department I will get another one as soon as I get the car running again.

I just found another video of it from when it was on the dyno this last time when it blew a head gasket.

This one is a little better. Hard to hear the exhaust note over the F1, BPV, and the huge fan blowing and especially since I'm not standing near the exhaust, but at least the mic was working on this camera (even tho the screen had some parts that were blacked out).

But as far as surging, I have no problems. It idles smooth and steady at 850 RPM. It is by no means real nasty and lopey. I think you'd like it from your description of what you want

I am in the midst of installing a Thunder Racing Blower Cam and upping to 7# of boost. We'll see in a few weeks what I get....
