Default Moonsoon Headunit install

Hey guys i just bought a moonsoon headunit off a member here and am hoping to replace my crappy tape deck in my 01 camaro with it as soon as it gets here. Whats the best way for me to go about doing that? Also, hes not sure if the theftlock is deactivated, so is there some universal code i can use so my cars electronics dont get all screwed up? thanks

Installation is very easy. Pop the front bezel off and you will find 4 screws (7 or 8mm drive bit I think), 2 on each side holding the stock radio in place. Once you undo the screws the radio will slide out. Unhook the harness on the rear hook the new one up and reverse the process. Hope this helps!!

GM uses 7mm, don't lose that socket, you gonna need it again. or 9/32nds i believe will work too.

7mm it is! I couldn't remember off hand but I knew it was one of the 2. 9/32's does also work.
