Vibration back After 15k
ok this is my 97z currently @ 116k i had a bad vibraton so i got a alum DS fixed that got another vibration couple weeks later (This was 15k ago about 7mos ago now) thought it was the HB replace and vibration stayed so i knew the clutch was on its way out. so i had it replaced and installed new PP T-out bering and HAY's street and strip clutch package all went well and no more vibration, so that being said the stock PP is nutral balanced how did it go out again? it starts to vibrate under WOT what would cause this only mods are tb bypass 160 tstat spl fan switch and cutout

which kind of trans mount are you running?
balancing of tires (check runout on tires and rims)
out of balance driveshaft
out of balance clutch assembly
cut out causes vibration
bad shocks?

Stock tans mount> checked and looked good all bolts tight
Just had the tires balanced they have about 3k on them now
>postive it's not the DS because it still does it in nutral ( and it feels like more front of the car than rear thats why i thought HB)
also the rear end was done not too long ago new 3.42's all bearings and seals w/ solid washer
could be clutch assembly or PP (but how does it go out the stock one did it right before it was replaced.. put the new in and it was gone now its back)
still does it with or with out cut out open
shocks are good as well
im leaning towards the PP or clutch i dont see how it would just go out of balance it holds like new i and dont spin the motor over redline because the miss (and it stock)

Vibrations like this as you know are difficult sometimes. If we think about what is happening under WOT - the engine twists clockwise, the rear axle shifts downward, the driveshaft will try to buckle at the front ujoint, and any misfires will be more pronounced.
A couple of questions:
How bad is the vibration and does it get worse or better as RPMs go up?
Does it get worse or better as speed goes up?
Does it vibrate in neutral clutch engaged?, Clutch released?
Does it vaibrate in all gears?

i am almost 100% its the flywheel/ clutch assembly but why?
vibration is steady not really bad but very noticable (not like an out of balance DS)
Vibration is there at wot and is the same if i DS from 6th to 4th stays perty tame
Vibrates with or with out clutch in or out and yes in all gears 1-2 mostly most accleration

Unless something came off the clutch or something got bent, it is difficult to understand how a vibration can develop like this. It sure sounds more like misfire than balance.
