I know exactly what it is, Ford bought out the movie just like GM bought transformers and put all their new models in it. Trust me there's going to be more Fords in the movie. I'm so ****** pissed I have an 89 GTA that I bought years ago because that was always my favorite car because of the show, I don't know how I'm going to break the news to him

Ah man.
The General Lee will always be a 69' Charger.
Herbie will always be a 63 VW Bug.
Even the new(er) Gone on 60 Seconds movie with a different Eleanor worked. But they kept it Mustang. What if they made the new Gone in 60 with a Scion TC?
Hell, even making the new Bumblebee comeback as a 5th gen Camaro worked.
How can you make a KR movie, be it a made for TV movie and not make it a TA or at least something futuristic! A retro Stang doest cut it. It's not even altered at all. At least black out the tail lights, add some ground effects, etc. I can see all the Ford stealerships putting them on showroom display and charging a $10K mark up on top of the already overcharged Shelby price. Enjoy your $65K priced Mustang.
I’m excited to see how this new show does. We do need more car action shows on TV. I’m tired of all the Medical / Cop drama shows. Plus I’m tired of all the reruns on Speed channel.
Perhaps in true Knight Rider fashion, KITT will be destroyed (new mustang getting destroyed, that would be cool) and brought back as a 4th gen TA, lol. That would be the next true stage of evolution I’m thinking. My old TA would have been the perfect choice too. Oh well.
