Only 3rd tail light lights up!! Got an 01' T/A that just got H/C and when we brought it home off of the dyno the brake lights wont brighten when you press the pedal. Only the 3rd brake light lights up, 
. anyone had this crap?

I did yes. When I got my 93 only the 3rd lite in the wing would work. This car also had an alternator problem and signs of a high powered stereo( a #8 Hotwire coming in from the battery). So it may have had some electrical problems. Anyway, I took the tailights out and found that all the ground connections were open. It looked like a solder joint had melted and dissappeared but then the plastic socket showed no signs of heat. I took a solid #18 guage wire and stuck it in the end of the socket so that the lamp would contact it when plugged in and connected these four wires to a good ground and they all worked . It was very weird.
